Winchester U10 Girls are Hampshire Champions!
Winchester U10 girls became Hampshire champions at Sunday’s In2 hockey championships in Basingstoke. Led by coach Nick Tout, the girls romped through the group stage setting up a tense semi final against Haslemere. 0-0 at full time, the game went to penalties. With Winchester converting their three and Winchester’s goalkeeper saving one, the girls went through to the final against Alton.
With strong attacking supported by midfield domination and a robust defence, Winchester won 3-0 and now join the U12 Girls representing the county in the regional finals later this year. Congratulations girls!
